MKMMA week 1- The journey begins

The journey has begun, the sails are set and the anchor is no longer in place. Now, I the captain must direct the ship towards the big open sea. Let the storms come, for I am ready. Let the sun warm me, for I deserve it. Let the stars guide me, for I will need them. This will be a voyage never forgotten. Wonder where it will take me…

Mkmma - week 1, the journey begins

It feels that my faltering wander over the last couple of years finally led to this journey. I have had the “heroes journey” before, I have read Napoleon Hill before and I have been studying the power of mind. I have even read about “the law of attraction” and begun testing meditation. I have done it all, but with no definite purpose and with no guidance.

The Master Key Mastermind Alliance has it all in a package with daily tasks and weekly assignments. And they have Mark and Davene who are the inspiration and interpretation we all need. We will soon see if the guides can contribute as well.

It all started last sunday with a 90+ minutes webinar. We all got our assignments and it is now up to us to deliver, practice and grow. First off, a DMP where the future me was supposed to be described. Then reading of Mandinos first scroll three times a day, the blueprint builder, this blog, some Napoleon Hill insights and finally Master Key lessons from Henell. But there were one more thing. Taking complete control of your body. By sitting absolutely still for minimum 15 minutes in darkness with eyes closed just controlling your body. Harder than one can imagine, but an interesting exercise indeed. Except if you ask your wife, who think you turned nuts…

The days pass and the assignments are being taken care of. It all feels very natural and sound. Some doubts along the way offcourse, but otherwise everything is great. I can do this, I will do this.

A better me is about to be born, I can feel it coming slowly but surely

Take care out there
Love /Peter

Find your flow, find your success

I have been reading and studying personal development for more than a year now and a conclusion starts to form.

If you compare the greatest names and their discoveries you can see that they are all connected and that everything is built around the same core. But everyone has their special field and if I try to generalize them it can sound like this:

Tony Robbins is very good at helping you find the why and purpose in life. Jack Canfield is very practical around general success and Less Brown is all about motivation. Then there is Jeff Olssen who encourage you to take baby steps all the way to heaven, and Napoleon Hill who wants you to be a man of infinite vision and definite action. Joe Vitali should not be forgotten who wants you to buy success from him through his mentors and his music. Zig Ziglar practice the salesman’s successes efficiently and Mark T Ecker wants to tune your mindset into being a millionaire.

There are off course many others, but these are the ones who comes to my mind right now of the ones that I have been studying. And we shall not forget the “secret”, the Law of Attraction that is so hyped.

What do they all have in common? :

It is your mind and your mindset that is the key to your success

The thought of meditation and visualizing that many speaks about feels a bit strange for a “learning by doing guy” that I am. I think it is easier to think about it as to get the right feeling for what you do, especially since thoughts and feelings combined are the strongest way to set your mindset in the right state for success.

I am 100% convinced that the only thing you will need to find success and happiness in your life is to find your flow. And what do I mean by flow. Well if you think back and remember a time when you had a success streak in any area of your life, then you know what I mean. For me it´s easiest to associate with sports, for example golf. Where you  succeed several holes in a row and begins to just play only based on your feelings and not thinking about anything else than your present and future success. Not thinking about the past, not thinking about how, not thinking about when, just playing and feeling great. Just seeing the ball rolling into the hole.

And how can we achieve such a feeling of flow in our lives?

By throwing away your backpack, set sail for new adventure and start exploring.

If you start your journey by applying Tony Robbins advice’s for purpose in life, then you will now why and get the strength to start.

Then you need to face reality as it is. What are your current situation, how did you get here and what can you do to get going? This will make you see things clearly and make sure you are true and honest to yourself, if you listen.

Now we need some inspiration, and by listening to Lesley Brown we can start to move mountains.

To get your journey started just pick up the Slight Edge and start by doing the small changes that slowly improves your life. Ask yourself constantly, is there anything that I should do that can be done? Write to do lists of all the things that comes to your mind and start to do them one by one. Make yourself a new habit of never keeping anything undone, then you won’t have to have a bad conscience any more. And by freeing yourself from that “backpack” you can start to look ahead, what else can I do?

Now start to form new habits that are good for you. Maybe quit something bad like nicotine, added sugar, candy etc. Or maybe start something healthy like taking the bicycle to work, or taking long walks regularly? The easiest way to form new habits are by taking 30 day challenges and write about your progress along the way. By doing so it gets real, in printing and hard to avoid. Also easy to find reasons to celebrate your small successes along the way.

And now the fun part begins. When you start recognizing your successes you can start to ride them like waves. One area of success can be a motivation for another area that needs improvement and when having more successes you are likely to fall into the flow. Just starting to feel great and your thoughts becomes emotions and you become unstoppable…

Find you flow, find your success

Good luck

Think and Grow Rich for free

What a day, what a day.  Had visitors from abroad so the evening became night and all morning disappeared…

But I have good news for you, because I found great resources to get you going for free. Remember my last post “lets make this year even better than the last one” where I urged you to start reading good books and to start listening to audios. I there recommended you to read  a classic book by Napoleon Hill called “Think and grow rich”. A book written 75 years ago based on research and interviews with over 500 self made millionaires. The purpose of this book is to explain the secret formula to make you rich.

Think and Grow Rich for free

Through one of my networks I got these links and recommendation where you can read and listen to the classic book for free on any device:

To read it use this link: https://archive.org/details/Think_and_Grow_Rich

To listen to it use this link: https://archive.org/details/ThinkAndGrowRich_21stCenturyEdition

If you have an Iphone you can open it in safari and bookmark it on your homescreen to make it work/look as an app

Personally I can strongly recommend this book and I am right now reading and listening to it. The reason for reading and listening to it at the same time is to get the best out of it because you notice and remember things differently, as well as get a better understanding from going over it twice…

The version I am reading is actually not from the above link since I read it from my Iphone, and then its easier to have it in your Ibooks. Besides that, the version I am reading is with added comments specified for consultants and knowledge workers. I find it very useful and you can find it in appstore called: Think and Grow Rich: The Consultant and Knowledge Workers Edition. This version is also free.

When you read this book, think of it as a way to start your journey. Forget all your past and try to open your mind to it. Do not just think of it as a way to get rich in fortune, but also as a way to get rich in other aspects of life. You can apply this just as good regarding your health or anything you really desire and set your mind to.

Good luck and happy reading/listening

/Peter
